      Verdict

Flint Hill beat Dream Poet when winning a handicap over 7f but came up short over today’s trip at Ripon while Gallic is another with something to prove over a mile on her latest effort at Haydock. Nathless improved when second over a longer trip at Wolverhampton while Seductive has yet to attempt a mile though this is easier than her latest task at Newmarket. But ILLUSIONS cane good over today’s distance at Pontefract last month and the runner-up has subsequently won a Class 2 race at York. Richard Fahey’s filly gets the nod on that form with Liberatrix and the latter’s stablemate Elusive Brand both struggling.
