In depth

Verdict

BAHKIT is making his all-weather debut but made all to beat a couple of Newmarket raiders at Ripon last month. He’s 6lb higher here and will need to break smartly to get to the front from a wide draw but is easily the least exposed of this field. David Lanigan’s Lord Kitten didn’t show much on his Tapeta debut but has been placed three times on Turf so rates a danger. The latter may be capable of reversing Beverley form with Spirit Of The Vale on slightly better terms - Lopito de Vega and Perceived are held on that run. Falcon's Fire was in good form around this time last year but has been very disappointing so far this season.
