Verdict

ASSAILANT placed over a mile at York on last month’s debut and this longer trip can see him off the mark. Tokyo Bay was no match for the winner when second at Nottingham though still finished in front of Believitanducan. The Crisfords’ yard won this with subsequent Listed winner Chesspiece last year and introduce Meydaan while Mr Hampstead is a half-brother to this year’s Irish Oaks heroine Savethelastdance.
