    Verdict

Evening Story has been winning over longer trips and is penalised for last week’s success here. But GOVERNOR OF INDIA left his earlier form behind when scoring over track and trip on his handicap debut and is taken to confirm running with the runner-up Sagauteur and Highwaygrey with more to come from the Gosdens’ charge. Ayr Poet and Cosmos Raj have been regularly in the mix without winning while Cusack won over a mile here last month with Mercurius Power behind.
