Verdict
Leslingtaylor was outclassed in Grade 2 company last time but back in this grade John Quinn's gelding is hard to oppose and should be up to defying his penalties and giving weight to the likes of Categorical and Dundock. The last mentioned has shown promise in bumpers but lacks a run over hurdles and, on this ground, he may be best watched. Similar comments apply to Mick Easterby's Al Falcon, while Diamonds And Dust has given little sign of encouragement over hurdles but has had a decent run in claimers on the level recently. The four-year-old Categorical has a penalty to carry for his win at Wetherby and has to be respected but preference is for Leslingtaylor, who is taken to resume winning ways.
