The market should offer most clues in the maiden and African Flight is taken to beat Hallingdal and Misplaced Fortune. African Flight is stoutly bred and with plenty of soft ground infulence in the pedigree, Michael Bell's long journey up North can be justified. Hallingdal has to be respected from an in-form yard. The Halling filly is related to a number of middle distance winners so more can be anticipated in time. Misplaced Fortune has the edge of racecourse experience. More is required if recent evidence is anything to go by. Reel Cool didn't show a lot on debut while Caffari does at least have experience on the going. George Margarson won this race in 2005 but Floral Guest has a lot to find off a debut beating. African Flight has plenty of positives and is nominated accordingly.
