In depth

Verdict

STREAK LIGHTNING has now won three of only six outings having scored over track and trip last time. There should be more to come over today’s distance and he can go in again. Artistic Rifles placed here after making a winning debut for current connections over a mile at Redcar while Greek Kodiac has placed in all three outings since scoring over course and distance at the end of last year. Duesenberg will be sharper for last month’s second here and is preferred to stablemate National League while Atheeb may improve with a tongue-tie applied for this.
