In depth

Verdict

Several won their penultimate starts though Sacre Pierre’s victory came over a shorter trip and Clear White Light is preferred on an earlier success at Doncaster. Both Sheriff Garrett and Les's Legacy were successful on soft ground while novice winner Howlingmadmurdock has yet to race on anything other than soft as he makes his handicap debut. MILLARVILLE seems more versatile as regards the going and she gets another chance in an open contest having just missed out at Kelso last time.
