Verdict

Desert Land is unbeaten in two starts around here but takes on stronger company. Out From Under made all to land a Kempton handicap in convincing style but is up 6lb and was ridden by a 5lb claimer so faces a much tougher task. FRESH HOPE (NAP) won at Doncaster in May then ran a fine race at Royal Ascot before scoring again at Leicester. She didn't get the clearest of runs back on Town Moor next time before scoring with a bit in hand here three weeks ago and has only been raised 3lb. Street Kid was in top form on Tapeta at Wolverhampton last autumn and didn't reappear until last month when beaten a head in one of these races at Lingfield so has to be on the shortlist.
