Water Sports is selected to rattle up a quick hat-trick of wins, the main dangers being Red Rover and You'Re The Man. Bear in mind that the selection ran on Thursday so connections might pull her out of the race, but she has looked well-handicapped and progressive in winning her two latest starts for her in-form stable so we'll side with her again. Clonroche Vinyls has failed to score since landing a bumper on his debut and, despite his stable being in form, lacks a recent start. In Good Faith won a conditional jockeys' handicap hurdle at Sedgefield in September and the form has worked out. However, he has been raised eight pounds in the weights as a consequence. Channel Highlander is put back over hurdles following a couple of chase efforts but, overall, we prefer others. Magenko's latest win came in a seller, but Red Rover ran her best race to date when landing a 'hands and heels' contest at Carlisle on November 2. Running under a penalty, she would be the selection if Water Sports does not run. You'Re The Man finished three lengths behind Red Rover at Carlisle and is now weighted to get revenge, so cannot be ruled out. Overall, though,we'll stick with Water Sports, if she is allowed to take her chance.
