      Verdict

      Violeta is upped in distance on her return from a lay-off and Silver Nightfall is preferred on a recent second at Lingfield. She makes more appeal than stablemate and handicap debutante Margaret's Fuchsia but this can go to DIRECT HIT. The latter found the progressive Magicdollar too good over track and trip last time but still finished in front of a subsequent winner and gets the vote on that form.
