In depth

Verdict

Den Maschine ran well in defeat behind Dimashq last time out however MISS FERNEY won with plenty in hand at Redcar last time and is preferred to Whipma Whopma Gate. The selection seemed to appreciate the quick ground and ten furlongs when successful at Redcar last time out and although that wasn't a top race by any means, the feeling is that she could strike again whilst she remains in good form. Grand Minstrel is an interesting Irish contender and she should be watched in the betting, although it appears that she still has stamina for this trip to prove, so a bigger danger may be Tivers Song who was a decent second behind Monfils Monfils at Beverley last time out; Whipma Whopma Gate was 8th in that race but would be interesting with rain. Paul Hanagan looks an interesting jockey booking for Caught On Camera who is dropping down the weights and has shown ability, Park's Prodigy has been up and down in trip like a yoyo but has a shown ability, whilst Waterloo Corner's fourth to Master Nimbus in June reads well. Not a finale to dwell on, but perhaps a good chance for Miss Ferney to win again.
