This is a competitive handicap chase in which the principles look to be Florries Son, On The Luce and Kelantan and we will take a chance on the last mentioned. The gelding from the Kim Bailey Yard was a disappointing favourite when fourth behind Ankles Back at Leicester last time, but he finished in front of Flying Trix on that day and he has since gone on to frank the form by defeating Good Outlook at Kempton last time. He is dropped in trip here but looks the one they all have to beat. Florries Son is a course and distance winner who won well here last time, but he was up against distinctly moderate opposition on that day and will find this tougher. On The Luce was pulled-up last time but had previously won well on this track when defeating Solway Rose. However, he is not sure to be suited by the drop in trip and for that reason is opposed. Janoramic looks the best of the rest, but for the winner we return to Kelantan.
