Gunadoir, Kealshore Lad and Dolans Bay are the three to look at here, and the last named looks well treated and can land this. Gunadoir has been runner up on his last three starts and is thoroughly consistent. However, he is weighted on his best form and may find others better treated. A dual winner, Kealshore Lad was put into handicap company last time and acquitted himself well, finishing a close fifth. Top weight in these appalling conditions may be too tough a test. After scoring at Carlisle in November, Dolans Bay has been hit hard by the handicapper since. He has been slightly disappointing recently, but he has conditions to suit, and looks nicely weighted. A chance is taken that Dolans Bay can lead them home in apt conditions.
