Verdict

Blackergreen, Nevada Red and Crackadee are on the shortlist here and Crackadee is taken to defy top weight. Sue Smith's Blackergreen appears well treated and was in the process of running a good race last time when unseating his rider at Market Rasen. this dual winner from last year looks well treated. Nevada Red is still a maiden in fourteen starts but ran a blinder last time at Musselburgh, finishing a close second. he looks capable of winning a race and in the testing conditions his light weight can be a plus in the conditions. Crackadee won over the course and distance last time and has only been raised a pound for that success. Crackadee can prove too tough a nut to crack.
