    Verdict

Auspicion is a three times course and distance winner but he was three lengths behind Rashford's Double here last time. Tiercel and Waarif are both making belated seasonal reappearances but they have won on Polytrack. Zymyran boasts decent form and won a nursery over track and trip last year. He’s possibly still a couple of pounds too high but can’t be ignored and Testa Rossa went close at Redcar in August and wins his fair share. Harlow remains unexposed but MADROOS has dropped a further pound since a beaten favourite at Wolverhampton, where he didn’t get the run of race. Harrison Shaw also takes off 7lb and Mick Easterby’s Irish import looks the one to beat today.
