Bernard Spierpoint’s winning run came to an end off today’s mark at Southwell while a couple of these went close to taking advantage of a slide down the weights last time. Joshua R finished in front of Muatadel, Summer Heights and Stroxx when runner-up over track and trip but EEH BAH GUM is just preferred. The latter was having his first outing for Kevin Ryan when second at Southwell and an apprentice takes 5lb off his back today. Crunchie may prove best of the rest now handicapping.
