A wide open affair in which Burnley Al, Jaamid, Desert Leader and Commitment Lecture are on the shortlist and Burnley Al is nominated. Richard Fahey's representative ran a solid race behind Stevedore at Musselborough last time out and showed that he can stay a mile. This is a very tricky race but he is well drawn and is well worth a look in the market. Jaamid has box one today. The Mark Johnston cast-off has tumbled down the weights of late and ran much better than his finishing position at Beverley suggests. Desert Leader is less exposed than most. He ran a fair first race for new connections and the market is observed. Commitment Lecture could be of interest at longer odds. He is the only previous winner over the course-and-distance and his latest effort can be forgiven as he had a poor draw. Emperor's Well is not guaranteed a soft lead and is left alone. Qualatair Wings is back to a winning mark and is best of the rest. Many chances held but Burnley Al is the one that appears most likely prior to the evidence of the betting.
