Magic Combination showed the benefit of his belated return when running out a comfortable winner over 1m6f at Haydock last month. Len Lungo's charge has beeen raised 4lb since but, under the assistance of Kieren Fallon, should prove hard to beat. The nine-year-old can confirm placings with the Haydock runner-up, Amir Zaman, on 2lb worse terms as he looked value for more than the official winning margin of three parts of a length and may have more to fear from recent Yarmouth winner Jahash. The form has been boosted by the runner-up since and Sir Mark Prescott's charge still looks on a handy mark being just 3lb higher while the consistent Spa Lane and the well treated Galleon Beach are others to consider in an open finale.
