Colway Ritz had been in the doldrums for some time but has plummeted in the weights as a consequence and was able to take full advanatge with a convincing success at York last time (Swynford Pleasure well behind). The eight-year-old goes well for today's rider and can defy a 3lb rise with conditions in his favour once again. Ballyhurry reserves his best form on more testing conditions than he'll encounter here while Analyze is an infrequent winner and looks worth opposing off his current mark. Oscar Pepper remains on a fair mark but has been well below par of late.
