Several of these have chances including the unexposed Nistaki, Brian Ellison's Torrid Kentavr and the race fit Tidy but the vote goes to Double Vodka. The selection showed progressive form on a soft surface last term and has slipped back to a fair mark so, if fit enough for his return, Lynda Ramsden's gelding looks worth chancing with the in-form Jamie Spencer taking the ride. Micky Hammond's Tidy has slipped to an attractive mark and ran his best race for some time on the all-weather recently so has to be respected if able to translate that effort back to turf. Richard Fahey's Instructor comes here fit from a campaign on the sand during the winter and is another to consider along with Torrid Kentavr, who is fit from hurdling but may find this trip on the short side now. A market move for Top Dirham would be of interest, while stablemate Cat's Whiskers is entitled to come on for his recent reappearance. Silverhay had a good season last term and is another to consider but may be a shade high in the weights now and preference is for Double Vodka.
