Verdict

Skipthecuddles won at Towcester in May but probably has it all to do here under a penalty. Thomas Do has already won a point-to-point and Donald McCain has done well with similar types in the past. Mayo Star ran his best race so far over track and trip last time but a couple of newcomers are preferred. Ruby Who is by Daylami so shouldn’t be short of pace and looks the pick of Rose Dobbin’s two runners but the vote goes to OFFSHORE OSCAR. A grey son of Oscar, he hasn’t travelled over from Eric McNamara’s yard for nothing with Paddy Brennan a significant jockey booking.
