In depth

Verdict

Blast Of Koeman looks best of those with hurdling experience having followed a couple of very good runs in bumpers with a reasonable debut over timber in a huge field at Naas. However, there are some interesting newcomers engaged in particular CRACK MOME, a comfortable winner of his only start in a French bumper as a three-year-old and now with Willie Mullins. He's taken to make a successful start over timber, though Morgan landed a Cork bumper in October and didn't appreciate the quicker ground when well beaten at Down Royal. Ornua won a point at Rathcannon in October and his trainer does well with similar types while Noel Meade has taken over Coquine D'aunou, who had joined the champion trainer after a couple of runs in heavy going in France before being removed with the rest of his owner's horses.
