In depth

Verdict

Undercover Brother is penalised for winning at Southwell while Van Gerwen has gone close on both occasions since winning at Ripon and can race off a lower mark today having yet to win on the all-weather. Gleaming Arch can do better back on this surface though is 2lb higher than when winning last year’s renewal while Lord Of The Glen has a chance on last week’s second at Wolverhampton. But the unexposed JET SET GO gets a speculative vote racing on the all-weather for the first time having been beaten only a short-head at Doncaster on his reappearance and handicap debut.
