In depth

Verdict

Another wide open contest here in which many of the runners would have a chance on their best form and the draw may also be important with those close to each rail holding an advantage but the principals look to be Soaked, Mr Bountiful, Bundy and Tancred Times and we will take a chance on Mr Bountiful. The gelding from the Michael Dodds yard was a good second behind Speedfit Free last time out. He is sure to have the strong pace which he needs and he is taken to lead close home. His stablemate Bundy rates a big danger on his best form and the booking of Kevin Darley catches the eye but his very best form is with cut in the ground so for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. The top weight Soaked is also worthy of respect he was a good second behind Loch Inch last time. However although he has won over this trip his best efforts are over the minimum trip and he may just be found out close home. Rocinante is another that could go well with Jamie Spencer taking the ride off what looks a fair mark but he has only one victory to his name and for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Of the remainder The Old Solider has been in fair form of late and is another that could go well in a wide open affair but we are happy to side with Mr Bountiful.
