PATTERN MARK is the only C&D winner in the line-up having scored here twice and he was having just his second run of the season when staying on over a mile at Ripon last month. He's given the nod in a poor quality event though Think looks to have a fair chance of losing his maiden tag after a better run behind Honoured at Ripon. Bedlam was beaten in a seller last time, though probably found the mile too short, but Sally Friday produced her best run for a long time over the C&D last month and a repeat would definitely see her in the mix. Snooker, a winner in Germany, ran very well from today's mark at Redcar in June and looks certain to get a good ride from Harry Challoner so could be best of the rest.
