Ballarina won her maiden over C&D and escapes a penalty for landing an apprentice race at Catterick on last month's reappearance. She should confirm running with Kersivay and Spirit Of Coniston who filled the places and Eric Alston's filly has leading claims. Brighton winner Bouncy Bouncy is open to further improvement this year and Ingleby Star looks on a decent mark on his return to the turf, but a chance is taken on SHAWKANTANGO. Derek Shaw's charge showed good progress on the all-weather over the winter, winning three times on the Fibresand, and can race off a lower mark back on turf.
