        Verdict

        Polar Forest is not badly treated as he returns to action having scored off a higher mark last year. But HIGHWAYMAN has the best piece of recent form having finished second at Chelmsford a fortnight ago and he may prove good enough. Tred Softly has slipped down the weights since last year’s success at Wolverhampton but that remains his only win in 19 attempts while Ghostly Arc has had even more outings but has only won a maiden so far.
