In depth

Verdict

PADDYPLEX (NAP) is a relative newcomer to the Flat but has won two of his three outings in this code including a victory over 1m2f here. He was beaten only a head over track and trip on his latest start in Class 2 company and is the one to beat on that form. By contrast, Theglasgowwarrior is upped in class off a 5lb higher mark as he bids for a course and distance hat-trick while Lexington Law has been raised the same amount after scoring at Lingfield in December. Royal Reserve was still well beaten when third at Wolverhampton last time and The Resdev Way was runner-up here last month but that was over 2m.
