In depth

Verdict

Forest Of Dean and SOLID STONE (NAP) ran in separate divisions of the same handicap at Doncaster last month. The former finished fourth but Sir Michael Stoute’s colt was beaten only a neck in second and is fancied to go one better in this and confirm running with fourth-placed Emirates Knight in the process. Past Glories and Wearraah were both well beaten on their respective debuts and are hard to recommend.
