        Verdict

        The ability to handle soft ground has to be taken on trust with the majority of these including LILY RULES. She beat a couple of subsequent winners when second at Haydock last time and should go close on that form. Beverley maiden winner Atlantic Affair was a well-beaten third on her handicap bow but Heskin fared better at Chester, though an earlier poor effort in soft going tempers enthusiasm for her. There was little between Sakhalin Star and Baltic Fire when they filled the places at Catterick recently with Street Boss well beaten but Angel Rosa is preferred.
