Verdict

Ace of Spies has been knocking on the door of late and is taken to get his head in front this time around with both Cheers For Thea and Zaplamation worth noting. The selection has gone close at both Beverely and Thisk of late and looks more than capable of winning a race of this nature. Connections have decide to take a valuable seven pounds off his back and with more things in his favour than against he is the one horse in the race to stay on the right side of. Cheers For Thea is seven pounds higher in the ratings since winning at Pontefract. He is still only lightly raced so could still be improving and is worth monitoring in the betting market. As is Zaplamation who has been running well without winning this season, but is now winless in fifteen attempts so has to be treated with caution. So for the winner we return to Ace of Spies.
