Verdict
Global Warning gained his only victory over this track and trip last April but didn't make the expected progress. Antagonize made a successful debut here as a juvenile but finished last in just two starts last year and has been gelded. Fortamour has had his last four starts here, landing a maiden and a handicap over the trip. He's up 5lb but has an obvious chance. MERCHANT OF VENICE completed a hat-trick of all-weather victories early in his career, including over a mile here, and is gradually dropping to a winnable mark so gets the nod. Suitcase 'n' Taxi gained his last four victories on Fibresand at Southwell but Richard Fahey has acquired Tadleel from Ed Dunlop and he's on his lowest-ever mark so is one to keep an eye on.
