Silver Tigress won over 1m2f here in July on fast going but was a long way behind Primary Route in an amateurs' race at Ripon 11 days ago. Gioia Di Vita had Stamp Duty and Yorkshireman behind when third over this track and trip on the same day and goes on the short-list, along with Gabrial's Hope. But MIDNIGHT WARRIOR is in good form and, though 4lb higher than when second last time at Thirsk, can get back to winning ways. Oracle Boy won at Nottingham two runs ago but couldn't handle a higher mark at Bath and has gone up in the weights again since and Aseela is only a plater.
