        Verdict

        Marcus Eile has run well in lower grade of late but has yet to confirm that he stays this far in this company and a safer bet looks to be Celtic Carisma, who is preferred to Chaka Zulu. The last mentioned has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper for his consistency and may have to settle for a minor role. Micky Hammond's Alghaazy is closely matched with Chaka Zulu on running at Ayr in July and is another to consider along with top weight Maunsell's Road, who is well treated on his form of three years ago but has given little sign of encouragement either on the level or over hurdles of late. Keith Reveley's Rouge Et Noir has claims on the form shown behind Considine at Redcar two starts ago but preference is for stablemate Celtic Carisma, who resumed winning ways at Redcar over two furlongs shorter last time and, as an improving three-year-old laden with stamina, there should be more to come over this longer trip.
