Verdict

POUVOIR MAGIQUE (NAP) bids for a hat-trick having followed last year’s course and distance success with victory in Class 2 company at Newbury on his return. There looks more to come from John Gosden’s charge and he can go in again. Fayez is another dropping down a grade after finishing second at Ripon and is preferred to Roll On Rory, who won at Newmarket recently and is 5lb higher here. Constantino has a shout on his recent placed effort at Chelmsford but Knight Owl was still well beaten when second at Newmarket in September and both Prost and Oud Metha Bridge make more appeal.
