URSUS may have most to fear from Errigal Lad and Sea Salt but looks the call in this sprint handicap. Our selection bumped into a seriously well-handicapped horse over five here last time but still won the race for second with plenty in hand, having previously scored at Catterick over today's trip. He's only up a pound following the second of those efforts and with the step back up in distance certain to suit can gain supporters quick compensation, possibly at the expense of Errigal Lad. The last named ran on well for second at Yarmouth and remains on the same mark, so if they do happen to go too quick watch out for a strong finish from this dual winner. Sea Salt took ran well enough for fifth at Redcar and his previous third reads well so down a pound Ronnie Barr's runner could well represent some each-way value for those seeking it now below his most recent winning mark. Crianza's maiden win came over this trip but it's looking increasingly like a flash in the pan, Red China Blues was in front of Sleepy Blue Ocean last time but the pair were a good way behind Ursus and Captain Royale is another with work to do to beat our selection who is indeed Ursus.
