Several should be noted for nay strong support on their handicap debuts especially the Brighton runner-up Sunset Breeze and Lingfield third Rogue Tide. Solemn Pledge won a nursery at Redcar last year but is 7lb higher today and a chance is taken on MY KINDA DAY. He made his handicap debut in a tougher sprint than this last summer and improvement is expected this year on his first outing after wind surgery having been subsequently gelded.
