A fairly competitive handicap with a number of possibles but preference is for Cripsey Brook while Great News, Eton and Stallone look the main dangers. The selection showed improved form for the step up to this trip towards the end of last season, winning at Redcar, and continued in the same vein when making a successful return over course and distance last month. Don Enrico Encisa's charge has been raised a further 7lb since but scored with a little in hand and may be open to a little further improvement. Great News is well treated on the pick of his old form but is on a longish losing sequence and ideally would have preferred more cut in the ground while he cut little ice on his recent comeback. Eton has proved generally disappointing this term but has slipped down the weights and showed a little more sparkle last time so has to be respected but Stallone will find this tougher off a 4lb higher mark having landed a seller here last time.
