In depth

Verdict

There is little between these at the weights, as is the norm in low-grade classified events, but CHAMPAGNE PINK arrives in the best form. She landed a hat-trick of handicaps wins at Wolverhampton with a bit in hand last time and should make another bold bid. Zabeel Star has been threatening in handicaps at this venue and can figure but Mr Sundowner is 4lb higher than when scoring over 1m4f at Catterick in September. Desert Ruler has a shout on these terms and is preferred to Shamrokh over today’s trip.
