        Verdict

        Placed twice over 7f last season, ADLINGTON shaped with promise when stepped up to a mile at Haydock on his return to action. He faded inside the final furlong to finish a close-up fifth behind Franciscan on that occasion, but should keep going all the way to the line today and he gets the vote. Regimental was four lengths behind the selection last time and will do well to reverse the form, but Redcar nursery winner Tapis Libre looks a threat with a pipe-opener at Nottingham under his belt. Kalkan Bay scored over 7f at Beverley last August and has claims along with Sabratha.
