Epsom Des Mottes landed a handicap at Ayr on heavy going in January and started favourite in similar conditions at Lingfield but found 2m7f beyond him. Winning bumper The Black Squirrel was staying on over slightly shorter at Catterick and will appreciate the extra but SEAPOINT is the one to beat if reproducing her latest run here. Darius Des Sources looks high enough in the weights for his handicap debut and the remainder make little appeal.
