In depth

Verdict

Both Tranquil Daze and Lady Cristal won their penultimate starts but could only manage placed efforts on their latest outings and the latter makes a quick reappearance. It remains to be seen if Skellig Michael can do any better upped a grade off a higher mark after winning at Kempton so BASTIA is preferred. She made a winning start over today’s trip at Chelmsford last month and that looks stronger form than the winning debut made by Intense Romance over 5f here.
