        Verdict

Aldreth has held his form well over the winter but has just the one win since 2015 and was second over today’s trip at Chelmsford recently. Zakatal is another who is usually thereabouts and he finished ahead of Mister Bob when second over course and distance earlier, but is now 7lb higher than his latest success. Persun won over 1m3f at Kempton last month and can figure if staying the trip but TETRADRACHM (NAP) is preferred. The latter returned to action with a third over 1m6f at Chelmsford last month and the half-brother to Ascot Gold Cup winner Rite Of Passage will most likely improve for the step up to 2m.
