Verdict

Clan Chief unseated at Sedgefield on his chasing bow but won over hurdles in December and can race off the same mark. But the veteran WILLIE HALL is preferred on last month's double in heavy ground at Ayr and is taken to defy a further 7lb rise. Retrieve The Stick has been well beaten either side of scoring at Sedgefield but Home For Tea was in the lead when falling four from home at Musselburgh a fortnight ago and could be in the mix along with Pamak D'airy, a runner-up here on his penultimate start.
