Verdict

SHALLOW HAL ended a long losing run back on the all-weather at Chelmsford. This is less competitive and Karl Burke’s yard is in good form. Embour has been raised 9lb after completing a double with last month’s win at Wolverhampton and steps up in class along with Ballyconneely Bay, who scored at Hamilton last time. Bellagio Man beat subsequent course winner Pockley here last month while Abolish is capable at this level and Noisy Night drops back down in trip on his first start for a new yard having been gelded.
