Verdict

PIECEDERESISTANCE posted his best effort over hurdles so far when third at Newcastle last month. This looks less competitive and he gets the vote. Hermes Le Gris ran poorly on his reappearance having finished runner-up at Warwick back in May while the bumper winner Glory Bridge and Bertie's Wish are likely improvers having failed to get involved on their respective hurdling debuts.
