In depth
Verdict
Star Player jumped boldly in front when scoring over C&D last month and had Seeking Power and Sammy Spiderman well in arrears. Chris Grant's nine-year-old has been in much better form this winter and won't go down without a fight. Its Teescomponents will be all the better for her run over hurdles last month and is another to consider, while Jeringa has won off higher marks in the past and will appreciate the return to 3m after finishing second over 2m4f here last time. But it might be worth taking a chance on the potentially well-treated RAINING HORSE, who has won three of five previous starts at this track and shaped with a deal of promise at Ayr last month on his return from a lengthy lay-off.
