John Butler has a good strike-rate with the runners he sends here from Newmarket and has two in this. Martineo is on a hat-trick but INAAM is possibly more interesting having gone close over this trip at Lingfield after winning over 7f at Wolverhampton. Choice Encounter was back to form at Kempton last week while Athollblair Boy likes it here and is a consistent sort who has Faye McManoman’s claim in his favour. Chookie Dunedin is another to consider but Epeius was only fifth in his hat-trick bid here last time, though that was over 5f.
