COURT MASTER has yet to prove he stays 3m but was second over an extended 2m6f at Newbury two runs ago and can be excused his run in a strongly-run race over 3m2f at Cheltenham last time. He gets a handy 4lb from the hat-trick seeking Sounds Russian, who tries a new trip but will enjoy conditions and has come on in leaps and bounds since tackling fences. Marown won over 3m last season at Ayr but hasn’t run since April having undergone wind surgery in the interim. Informateur remains out of sorts and Geryville will not have tackled going this quick before.
